How and when will I be assessed?

There is lots of information about assessment on our website (start here for BSc, and here for BEng/MEng).

You can find out what assessments are expected of you for each term.

Also on the assessment pages you will find links to Past Papers, the Formula Booklet for exams, and the procedures for handing in assessed work.

The details of the Exam Procedures and exams for each module are described in the Undergraduate Handbook (BEng/MEng, or BSc) in Section 7 – the Statement of Assessment and Progress. Here you can find information about what exactly is required to progress to year 2.

Make sure you are aware of the Rules of Academic Misconduct, so that you know what behaviour is acceptable in exams and for continuous assessments. You can find a quick informal summary at the end of this page.
