How to get to our campus

By car

It is easily accessible from the A64 section of the outer ring road, via the A1079 or the A19 (see Map for details). Parking can be found in the campus map.

By train

It takes about 2 hours from either London Kings Cross or Edinburgh station to York station by East Coast Main Line.

From the York station, it takes about 10-15 minutes by taxi or by First bus (Line numbers 66 & 67).

By plane

Several international/domestic flights are available to Leeds Bradford airport, which locates less than 1-hour distance by car (parking available).

Manchester airport is approximately 2-hour drive from York. Transpennine express is also available (timetable).

London Heathrow airport is the main gate to the United Kingdom for international travellers. Heathrow Express runs every 15 min. and takes 15 min. to the London Paddington station, from where the London underground (Circle or Hammersmith and City Lines) takes about 10 min. to the London Kings Cross station.
Alternatively, the London underground (Piccadilly Line) connects to the London Kings Cross station in 1 hour.
It takes about 2 hours from London King's Cross station to York station.
