Alan K. Haynes I am a Research Associate at the University of York. My areas of research are analytic number theory, probability theory, and Diophantine approximation. I study applications of real and harmonic analysis and probability theory to problems about the distribution of prime numbers and to problems about the approximation of real numbers by rationals. |
