Experiment 36

2-way split-plot Analysis of Variance
Animals

An experiment on learning in the rat involved the comparison of two groups of animals over a two day period. Group A had been previously exposed to a schedule of reinforcement which was expected to make it harder for them to learn the experimental task. Group B was a control group. The number of trials to criterion was computed for both days. Group A's learning difficulties were expected to become more marked with time.
