Imaging & analysis

Histotech has facilities for standard bright field and epifluorescent microscopy of thin sections.

For thicker sections and full thickness constructs Histotech offers confocal (max depth of imaging 200µm) or multi-photon epifluorescent microscopy (max depth of imaging 1mm) using Zeiss LSM 510 microscopes.

Images can be collected as high resolution .jpg or .tif files to meet requirements.

Image analysis and quantification is performed using industry standard software and is customised to the requirements of the project.
