COST 2103: 4th Advanced Voice Function Workshop

The 4th Advanced Voice Function Workshop will be held in York, England between 8.30am on Wednesday 19th May 2010 and 14.00pm on Thursday 20th May 2010. Following this meeting will be a meeting for members of COST 2103 from lunchtime on Thursday 20th May 2010 to the afternoon of Friday 21st May 2010.

These events will take place in the heart of one of England's most intact medieval cities in the Merchant Taylor's Hall in the City of York which is within a short walkof York Minster; the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe and all other parts of the City. We very much hope to be able to welcome you to York for what will be a very special occasion.

There will be special evening activities during this Workshop. The Workshop dinner will take place on the evening of Wednesday 19th May and there will be a public engagement event relating to voice use at which delegates will be invited to join in (this is a significant part of the COST action itself) - full details to follow.

Accepted papers will be eligible for a fast-track review for publication in a Special COST 2103 Issue of Logopedics Phoniatrics Vocology (LPV).

The 4th AVFA Workshop will follow the traditions set in previous AVFA workshops events by bringing together those working on voice assessment with voice practicioners and those working on vocal care and health to discuss voice matters of common interest. The over-arching theme is Clinical voice assessment in the future - new horizons.
