Software & Research Projects

  • 2011 /2012: Audio recording to simulate the experience of schizophrenia (work in progress)
  • 2008 / 2010: Lecture replacement project to video record lectures for replacement with Adobe Captivate software.
  • 2007 / 2008: “Needle Injection Phobia Project (NIPP) Interactive Skills Training DVD Model”A project to produce visual demonstrations of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for the treatment of blood injury/needle phobia.
  • 2005 / 2006: A collaborative evaluation project between the University of Hull and the University of York to assess the impact of the NEYNL WDC eLearning strategy on the work-based practice of health professionals and NHS Trusts in the North and East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire SHA region.
  • 2005: E-tutoring Course, a University of York funded staff course as an introduction to e-moderating and facilitating online learning communities. A short 3-week non-accredited course that introduces teaching staff to the main issues surrounding e-learning and online tutoring
  • 2004 / 2005: Evaluation of The Students On-Line in Nursing Integrated Curricula project (SONIC).
