I have particular interests in SWORD (Simple Web-service offering repository deposit), linked data and metadata.
Before:
October 2005-August 2007: Repositories Research Officer at UKOLN for the JISC Digital Repositories Programme and the JISC Repositories and Preservation strand of the JISC Capital Programme. This included work on SWAP.
Before that: Manchester Metropolitan University, Content Co-ordinator for the Artifact arts and creative industries hub of the Resource Discovery Network (now Intute). Various externally-funded projects, mainly relating to the provision of online access to archival collections, including the D.H. Lawrence Manuscript Collections at the University of Nottingham Department of Manuscripts, the David Owen, Cunard and Gypsy Lore Society collections held at the University of Liverpool Special Collections and Archives and the Archives Hub.
