I am a Research Fellow in the Intelligent
Systems research group, Department of Electronics,
University of York and the
York Centre for Complex Systems Analysis.

My research interests include evolutionary computation, non-standard computing, dynamical systems,
evolvability, systems biology, bioinformatics, and biomedicine. If you wish to know more about my work in these

When I'm not doing research, my interests include photography, jazz,
real ale,
