Exercise: Head circumference, sex, and height, answer 3

Question 3: What can we conclude from this analysis?

Suggested answer

There is only very weak evidence that mean head circumference differs between male and female students of the same height, because P is between 0.05 and 0.10. We estimate the difference to be between 1 mm greater for females and 15 mm greater for males (rounding to the nearest mm).
