Exercise: Endarterectomy versus stenting using CMA2, answer 7

Question 7: How could we improve the forest plot further?

Suggested answer:

The labels at the bottom of the graph are overlapping. Try making them smaller. (You can do this by clicking "Format", "Labels", "Font". "A" with two downward pointing triangles makes the labels smaller. "A" with two upward pointing triangles makes the labels larger.)

I got this:

Forest plot, with at the bottom labels Favours Endarterectomy and Favours Stenting, which do not overlap but are very small.

These are pretty small, so I changed the first label by putting spaces at the end and the second label by putting a lot of spaces at the start, then made them bigger:

Forest plot, with at the bottom labels Favours Endarterectomy and Favours Stenting, which do not overlap and are much larger and easier to read.
