Free Geek is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is computer recycling and
reuse, computer education, and Linux advocacy. I have volunteered here for the last 3 years and is the organization I have been proudest to be part of.
Gentoo is a flavor of Linux based on the Debian distribution. Extreme
performance, configurability and a top-notch user and developer community are
hallmarks of the Gentoo experience. This is my preferred flavor of Linux.
Berbatis Pan hosts live music almost everynight of the week, comprising of up and coming local bands to established national acts. I have worked here for the last two years and occasionally update the site.
