  • Dubai Natural History Group - The Dubai Natural History Group is a non-profit, volunteer-run organisation, aimed at furthering the interests of its members in the wildlife and environment of the UAE. The group also reaches out to the general public, in the form of monthly lectures on natural history, archaeology, and other related topics.
  • Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) - The mission of  the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) is threefold:  To conduct research on topics relevant to the national security, and economic and social well-being of the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region; To facilitate the scholarly exchange of ideas and provide outreach services to the community through the convening of symposia and conferences on topics related to the research agenda of the Center; and To actively assist and promote the professional development of UAE nationals through the conduct of training programs.   • Scuba diving on the East Coast of the UAE - John Barrington's web page about scuba diving in the UAE. Has e-mail links to dive centres and other scuba divers in the UAE. 
  • UAE Forever - Good collection of links and information on the United Arab Emirates. 
  • UAE Interact - "The most comprehensive website for the United Arab Emirates" (so it claims!). Great website built and maintained by Trident Press. The Emirates News Bulletin is published daily by the External Affairs Department of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the United Arab Emirates.
