I'm a linguist currently (since August 2009) holding a position as a researcher at the University of Groningen in Holland. I work on a project about mutual intelligibility between Scandinavian languages. You can read more about that project here. I'm also in the process of finishing my PhD thesis about regional dialect levelling in Norway. My PhD is with the Department of Language and Linguistic Science at the University of York.
