Local Registration for the 3rd IAEA Technical Meeting on the Theory of Plasma Instabilties
The local registration process for the 3rd IAEA Technical Meeting on the Theory of Plasma Instabilties should be completed between 15 November and 17 December 2006.
Delegates should complete and send the local registration form to Local Organiser Roddy Vann to arrive no later than 17 December 2006.
Delegates should also register with the IAEA.
Any queries about the local registration process or any other part of the local organisation for the meeting should be addressed in good time to Local Organiser Roddy Vann.
Food & Drink
Conference hospitality includes- Daily: Lunch, plus the usual refreshments (tea, coffee etc.) between sessions
- Monday evening: A buffet and bar reception on the University of York campus, subsidised by the U.K. Institute of Physics
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided on the University of York campus in single rooms with ensuite facilities in the modern Alcuin College. Any disabled delegates who require particular facilities (e.g. a ground floor room) should indicate this on the local registration form. Directions to the University of York and maps of campus may be found here.
If a delegate intends to bring an accompanying person with them to the conference and requires a double room, then the Local Organising Committee can advise on suitable hotel accommodation near the University campus.
Conference facilities
There is no charge for conference facilities. These costs have been covered by a generous grant from the U.K. Institute of Physics Plasma Physics Group.Payment
Payment for accommodation and hospitality may be made either by credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard or Maestro only; we are NOT able to accept American Express or Diners Club) or by cheque made payable to "University of York" (cheques may be drawn only on a UK bank account). Payment details should be filled out on the third page of the local registration form.Cancellations and Refunds
The refund policy on cancellations is as follows:- Full refund for cancellation before the end of the registration period on 17 December 2006
- 50% refund on cancellations before 21 February 2006
- No refund on cancellations after 21 February 2006
