The BAe146 atmospheric research aircraft arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on Wednesday and after a day on the ground to fix any instrument issues we took to the skies for our first research flight today. There was not a lot to see as we couldn't get permission to fly low enough to catch the plumes we were aiming for, buthopefully we have some useful data. Have a look at the BORTAS blog or facebook page for more information or follow us on twitter for regular snippets of news.
