These generally happen on the second weekend of each term.
People turn up and hilarity ensues! In more detail: from 7pm on the Friday until 10pm on the Sunday we have the downstairs suite in Wentworth booked for society use as well as some of the rooms upstairs. You can get there by entering the Wentworth building though the doors by the porters lodge, passing through a set of double doors, heading down the slope to your left and going through a set of double doors on your right (just passed a computer lab).
Activities that will likely be happening include copious amounts of boardgames, magic the gathering, film watching, one off rpg campaigns (such as DnD). It is also possible that there will be wargames running, though harder to gather people for. Most conventions there are also one off LARPs run which can be signed up for before if you're extra keen or during the convention while the organisers are running around hunting for players. If there's anything not listed above that you want to do, feel free to bring whatever you need for it along and you may well find other people willing to do it. There should be something for almost everybody happening at some point.
One further note: in order to make tidy-up easier we are asking that people make requests on the Saturday for any society boardgames they are going to want on the Sunday. This way when it gets around to 9 or 10pm on Sunday and we have to start cleaning up we don't still have a pile of a hundred large boxes to shift.
