I just wanted to hope that everyone who attended the Christmas ball had a great time. The event was a real success, and the atmosphere after the ball was really something special. Also, there have been a few modifications to the website in the past few weeks so I wanted to elaborate on those:
> An eagle-eyed member pointed out that there were some errors in the committee pages. These has now been amended, and I'm sorry for any confusion.
> You can now access the Physsoc calendars via your Google calendar. With the change from webmail to gmail, this should help you integrate the Physsoc events into your routine much easier, as you can sync your calendars together.
> The form to contact us on the website was a major issue. Unfortunately due to the constraints of our domain, I cannot easily change the form so that it doesn't send when you click enter. I have tried to make this clearer by having pre-selected text in each of the fields, and though this is not ideal, I shall continue to try to rectify the probem.

A great suggestion was put forward by one of our members. They suggested that the contact form here on the website be changed so that the form was not sent when the enter key was pressed. Unfortunately, I looked into this option, but there is no way that this is possible for our current website.

That talk by Prof K O'Grady was great! Great turnout to a really interesting talk! Hopefully you all enjoyed playing with the spiky liquids and got a chance to ask any questions you had.

Apparently it is just my google chrome which doesn't work... Yours should all work fine!

So far, Chrome is intermittent on the committee page... sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesn't. Try Firefox or internet explorer if it won't work in chrome!
