Handbells

Handbell practice will be from 7.30-9.00pm at More House on Wednesday, as usual. We have been invited to play handbells in a christmas concert on Saturday 12th December, so if anyone would like to play let us know so we can put a band together.

Bootham

Bootham teaching will resume as normal this week, so if anyone is able to help us teach it would be great to see you at St Olaves church today, from 4.15-5.30. There will also be a quick practice for the NUA striking comp call change band beforehand, so would everyone in this band please get there at 4pm.

40th Dinner

Advance notice: YCG's 40th Dinner will be on 19th June 2010 and the surrounding weekend. Please put this in your diary! Further details to follow.

NUA - 20th to 22nd of November

Full details available here.

We have booked a great, large hall only 5 minutes from the city centre and plan to do a tour in and around York on Saturday plus ringing at the Minster on the Sunday. There will also be the usual favourites of a striking competition, a ceilidh and the boat race.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Helen via the account or on 07849 335975.

Ringing will begin at 6.30pm on the Friday evening and will finish at 4pm on the Sunday at the Minster.

All towers are going to be accessible by public transport and we strongly discourage the use of cars for the weekend. Parking is limited at the hall and traffic can be bad in and around York so please come by train if you can. If you want to come in a minibus that should be fine but please contact the Guild first and we'll arrange a parking spot for you.
