Handbells
Tom: Actually, it is spelt with a silent ‘P’.
Andrew: Isn’t the table interesting...
Karen: Well, according to Plato, there are many of them.
Charlotte: Indeed, his view is backed up by many others including Einstein.
Tony: How interesting … I wonder what someone like Mozart thought on the matter.
Andrew: And if I put my elbow on the table, look! it makes a shadow, and when I lift it up again, look, it goes. And look! Oh Wow, there’s one of those little marks you get on polished surfaces, where my elbow has been. It’s fading now, but it was there I tell you. Here, I’ll do it again. There! See! There’s the shadow, and now I’ll lift my arm up and there’s that mark again. Wonder if it always works, or only on a full moon. Can we come back and try this again next week? But maybe without the shadow, it won’t work. Latent heat of something or other. Maybe it won’t work again now. I’ll just try. Oh look it does! Wow, fantastic! Oh, I like that. Cool. But look the little mark is not fading as quickly this time. Maybe there’s an explanation. What if I try my other arm. Maybe this one is getting a little to hot in the excitement and it needs a rest, how is the other one, look it works too and it is still fading slowly wow yes we shouldcomeheremoreoften itsagreattable lookitshappenningagainlook!
