Surely if this were the case, there would be a camera visible in the picture?
That said, it all smells a bit odd. There's a hell of a lot of detail on
the pic of the screen (screen.jpg); I'm unconvinced that a photograph
taken from the far corner of a room would look so distinct.
screen.jpg is cropped from quite a high res scan of the original photograph,
which explains the high level of detail.
My Managing Editor has just looked over my shoulder and suggested that the
face bears a resemblance to King Ludwig II ("the Mad") of Bavaria, who
built so many castles he started planning bankrobberies to pay for them,
and eventually formulated a plan to sell Bavaria to clear his debts...
Could there be a connection?

Riley G. is an all time classic Usenet kook, check out his web site. http://www.psicop.com/ Scary, huh?
A colleague, Bob Hide, thinks our ghost looks like Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria.

There were no little red lights or green lights to indicate the power was on. Additionally, out of the clear blue sky, it immediately reminded me of John Wilkes Booth (American actor who killed President Lincoln). When I looked up Booth in my dictionary, the picture really astonished me! I am not sure how to scan it and send it to you, so if you will e-mail me back, or if someone will tell me how to do it, I think you will be astonished too!

When I compared the two pics (Booth and the Spooky pic) there are differences... I actually think the face resembles Rob Morrow who portrayed Booth in a TV movie....I couldn't find a good still of Morrow as Booth, but I think if you could get a hold of the video you'll see the resemblance... I'd like to know what you think... thanks, Florence

I noticed most of them were old, dead people. Almost no one tried for a possible "What if the TV was really on?" image. ;) This is kind of a long shot, but... Ever watched Red Dwarf? There is a character named Holly who is a computer. He appears in the show as a floating head on a TV screen. If you slap some hair on him and give him a moustache (and I KNOW there was an episode where Holly wore a toupee) it could be your spook. ;) http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Station/5360/hmale1.jpg That was the best pic I could find of Holly. -- Sarah "Friends don't let friends ride on MIR."
