This book is an important cornerstone in an ongoing expansion of science and its methodologies.
Karl H. Müller argues convincingly that science should be viewed currently as
a three level-configuration instead of a single level ensemble
where second-order science becomes a new and significant ingredient.
The author invites us to think of two epistemic ways of exploring the world (first-order science)
and reflecting on these explorations (second-order science) instead of one.
This distinction is critical for it opens a path for the next generations of scientific thinking
based upon the very principles of science itself.
    Müller’s two ways – world-making and word-reflecting –
provide a guide for further investigations and explorations.
