What is our shared intention when we use a groupware system? If we are attempting to create a shared artifact, exposing the process make it easier to collaborate. For example, 2 non-collocated teams need to identify a set of common objects for a distributed software development effort. Process: identify standards --> candidate objects --> final object definitions
