Suggested answer to exercise: Glioma and mobile phones, 5

Question 5: What do you think of their main conclusion?

Suggested answer

The main conclusion is ‘Use of a mobile phone, either in the short or medium term, is not associated with an increased risk of glioma.’ It is always rash to conclude that there no association. We could conclude that we estimate that the risk of glioma is increased by not more than 13%.
