Graph description: Head circumference, sex, and height in a sample of healthcare students

A graph with the horizontal axis labelled “Height (mm)” and numbered 1400, 1600, 1800, 2000. The vertical axis is labelled “Head circumference (mm)” and numbered 500, 550, 600, 650, 700. Each student’s height and head circumference is shown as a point, represented by a little hollow diamond shape for females and by a solid diamond for males. Female heights range from 1450 to 1820 mm, male heights range from 1650 to 1950 mm. The female points form a roughly oval cloud with the highest density of points in the middle. When height is 1500 mm, head circumferences range from about 540 to 600 mm. When height is 1800 mm, head circumferences range from about 560 to 610 mm. The male points form a roughly oval cloud with the highest density of points in the middle. When height is 1700 mm, head circumferences range from about 540 to 630 mm. When height is 1900 mm, head circumferences range from about 540 to 650 mm. There is one male outlier at height = 1750, head circumference = 675 mm.
