Graphic description: VenUS II Figure 9

This is a box and whisker plot for three groups. The horizontal scale shows randomisation group, labelled Loose, Bagged, and Hydrogel. The vertical scale shows Pain visual analogue scale, labelled 0, 50, 100, and 150.

For each group there is a box and whisker plot, a vertical box from the first quartile to the third quartile with a horizontal line across at the median. Vertical lines extend from the boxes to the maximum and minimum observed values. For all three groups, the vertical lines extends down to Pain = zero and up to Pain = 150. For Loose larvae, the box extends from Pain = 46 to Pain = 133 with median line at Pain = 95. For Bagged larvae, the box extends from Pain = 35 to Pain = 130 with median line at Pain = 100. For Loose larvae, the box extends from Pain = 4 to Pain = 65 with median line at Pain = 25.
