To date, I have published two monographs and four edited collections (as well as a number of book chapters, articles, reviews, and so on).
My first book, Justice and Punishment, was kindly reviewed in a number of places. The best reviews - in that they are both the most perspicuous and, (ahem) entirely coincidentally, the kindest - were by Russ Shafer-Landau in Ethics, Robert Sugden in The Times Higher Education Supplement, and Barbara Hudson in Punishment and Society.
My second monograph, Responsibility and Justice, came out in early 2007.
I have also edited several collections of essays:
Punishment and Political Theory (Hart, 1999);
Scanlon and Contractualism (Frank Cass, 2003);
Managing Modernity: Politics and the Culture of Control (Routledge, 2005);
and Democracy, Equality, and Justice (co-edited with Lukas Meyer).
