That's brought us the end of our little tour de force of HTML and CSS. There is a lot more to learn about HTML and CSS, as well as server-side includes (SSIs) and other things like PHP, CGI and javascript, but that's all we have time for here.

If you want to know more there are many excellent resources, including:

• The Physics Department has its own in-house styles, including ones for banners and side menus.
• w3schools, which has many excellent tutorials.
• W3C, who write the specifications.
• Or you could just find a web page you like, and look at the source code.

If you find yourself maintaining a large number of similar pages, perhaps for your research group, then you might want to look at one of the many web design packages available. The University uses Adobe's Dreamweaver program, and runs courses on how to use this for staff and students.
