Overview

This session will provide an introduction to the Linux operating system, what it is, what it does, and how to make it do what you want. The talk will cover all of the key concepts, but the notes will explain in more detail.

This session is not designed to teach you how to install Linux or generally look after a Linux system, though you are welcome to ask about that if you like.
