For trainee engineer Ravi MacLeod, the world he knows is coming to an end. As Braking Day approaches, Ravi is assigned to routine maintenance deep in the massive engines of the Archimedes. And then a horrific accident brings Ravi face to face with a terrible impossibility.

Plagued by nightmares and worried that his grip on reality is slipping, Ravi begins to search for answers. His quest takes him to the darkest, most derelict corners of the ship, where he discovers that not everyone is excited to be reaching journey’s end…
