North Wold

A dale runs for over 5 km south from Garrowby Street (A166) to the east of Bishop Wilton Wold to Swineridge Bridge west of Millington. The central section of this valley includes Deep Dale and Whitekeld Dale . Deep Dale is partly wooded and is bisected by Mingledale Plantation. The steep east-facing slope of North Wold lies immediately north of Mingle Dale.
