White Keld

A dale runs for over 5 km south from Garrowby Street (A166) to the east of Bishop Wilton Wold to Swineridge Bridge west of Millington. The central section of this valley includes Deep Dale and Whitekeld Dale. The southern parcel of Whitekeld Dale, which touches the Minster Way, was removed from the map on appeal on the grounds that the vegetation is semi-improved.
