MSc Universita’ degli Studi di Padova (2003, analytical chemistry), PhD Cardiff University (2006, physical chemistry and heterogeneous catalysis), appointed post-doctoral research associate in physical organic chemistry, University of York, since November 2006.
Previous research interests were involving the use of heterogeneous gold based catalyst for hydrochlorination reactions of alkynes and alkenes as well as investigations of phase transitions of vanadium phosphorous oxide catalysts for oxidation reactions. Further topics were involving the development of statistical models applied to chromatographic techniques for industrial applications.
