The aim of this project to investigate the inter-particle place exchange reaction by observing the movement of the spin labelled ligand between gold nanoparticles, using EPR spectroscopy (Fig 1 and 2).
Using the information gained from this, the mechanism and kinetics of the reaction will be studied, along with factors that affect the rate and extent of the reaction.
