Question 8: Draw a box and whisker plot of the distribution.
Choose Graphs, Boxplts, Boxplot, Simple, Summaries of separate variables.
The last bit is essential or SPSS will be waiting for a grouping variable, which you will not be able to provide.
Click Define, pick FEV1 as the variable in Boxes represent, OK.
You should get:
