What are the the reciprocals of 4 and of 5/6?

The reciprocal of 4 is 1 divided by 4, which is ¼.

The reciprocal of 5/6 is 1 divided by 5/6, which is 6/5. This can be presented as an integer and proper fraction:

      6               1
      ––   =   1 ––
      5               5
