Condensed Matter Theory Seminars

The Condensed Matter Theory group holds an informal talk and discussion group meeting most weeks, currently on Mondays from 4pm to 5pm (coloured blue in the schedule below). There are usually two speakers, each talking for about 20 minutes on a subject of their choice with 5-10 minutes of questions at the end.

The topics of the talks are many and varied. People often talk about their research (past, present or future), but we also have reports from conferences, discussions about interesting papers or methods, or indeed anything else that people think the group as a whole will find useful. If you'd like to volunteer a talk or suggest someone as a speaker then please don't hesitate to drop me an email.
