Zire screen brightness
Just had the following from Daviel Seifert of Energy Dimmer (and Crash) fame about dimming the Zire 72 screen: It's a hardware limitation, the lamps can only go down a certain way. Why? I can see it would cost more to increase the maximum brightness level, but how difficult is it to reduce the minimum level? Or do the marketing men think that if a prospective customer sees a very dim Zire72 they will not realize it is adjustable and be put off the purchase? |
