Experiment 21

Chi Square
Cognition

In an experiment examining the effect of story structure on recall, half of the participants heard version A of a story and half version B. All of the participants were then asked to write an account of the story. These written accounts were then examined to see whether a particular sentence in the story was recalled or not. It is hypothesised that more of the participants who heard version A will recall the sentence than those who heard version B.
