This workshop is a very quick taste of the Python programing language. Python is a simple, almost beautiful, language that can do some fantastic things (and makes easy things easy).
It can be used for statistical analysis, just like R/RStudio, and lots more. We’ll show how to take the yeast data from Workshop 1, and do similar analyses in Python. It’s going to be fun - and it’s not assessed!
We’ll do this using an online ‘notebook’ called Google Colab that works in your web browser, so you don’t need to install any software. Here are the tools we’ll use:

Here is the link to the Google Colab notebook explainng the workshop. You’ll need to be signed in to your York Google account to use this. Choose the Open with Google Colaboratory option to open it.
