The heights of the bars show mean diameters of canaliculi.
For wild type mice, the mean is about 1.4 and has "n=280" as text above it. For Cx32 mice, the mean is about 1.6 and has "n=162" as text.
There are standard error lines on each bar showing standard errors about 0.03 for each. The error bars are very small compared to the height of the bar. There is an asterisk to the footnote below the graph.
