Question 2: What other line would be useful on the scatter diagram?

We could include the line of equality:

This is much more informative than the regression line. We can see that when glucose is low the POC glucose tends to be greater than the laboratory glucose and when glucose is high the POC glucose tends to be less than the laboratory glucose.
