Histogram of Triglyceride with superimposed Normal distribution curve. The histogram is very positively skew and the Normal curve fits it badly. In the histogram, the lowest class is 0.1 to 0.2, the highest is 1.6 to 1.7, modal class is 0.4 to 0.5 litres. The Normal curve has its mode about 0.53 and would reach the horizontal axis at about –0.5 and 1.2.
