But at least I have worked out why my neural system keeps crashing: man cannot live by Lemsip alone, he needs coffee as well.

More on keyboards and cradles
So v.1.92 of keyboard.prc solved two problems: the screen not re-drawing after the menus are used and Hotsync's not initiating on the Mac. But it appears to have create a new one. Hotsync's work fine both to the Windows lappy and my eMac, but then the Palm freezes. No keypresses or screen taps produce any action and it needs a pin reset. Or at least it sometimes does this, i.e. about every second Hotsync. I will try to track down the culprit, since it may not be the keyboard driver, but ought to get on with some work first.
