Radio Times
I was away at a conference last week and came back to find that my subscription to Radio Times for PDA had expired. I have been using this for two years now and it is well worth the £14.95 p.a. Not only does it provide a fairly well-designed TV listings guide, and an integrated remote control, but its best feature is the quality of the information it gives. Awful TV guides just list the titles of programmes, bad ones add a heavily edited extract from the production company's press release, but this one has opinions and mini-reviews. Here is an example for a film on tonight, which needs three screenshots to capture all the text:    |
