Alternative to Margi Presenter to Go
Browsing for an Alphasmart Dana, I came across an alternative product allowing your Palm to power a presentation, the iGo Pitch Solo. One obvious advantage of this product is that it connects to the handheld either by the USB connector or Bluetooth/IR, thus leaving the SD slot free to store presentations. It appears to have several other good features, and be a bit more advanced than the Margi product. However, there are two 'Buts': 1. It does not appear to be compatible with OS 5.2 devices (let alone 5.4). 2. There is no information about what (if any) desktop software is needed, and thus no clues about Mac compatibility. Time for an email to their support people. |
