Evening Reception

The evening reception will be held in the Cruck Barn at the Craven Arms in Appletreewick, a fantastic authentic barn built in a traditional style from oak trusswork, lime and horsehair plaster, local stonework and a heather thatched roof. The Craven Arms is a very traditional 16th Century inn right in the heart of Wharfedale. It is a true old-fashioned Yorkshire Dales pub, with stone flagged floors, oak beams, gas lighting and most importantly some fantastic cask conditioned local ales!

Music

We are sorting our own music for the night to make it more personal. We have a selection of songs that mean a lot to us and remind us of different friends, family and fun times, but we would like to have your input. We would really appreciate it if you send some song suggestions that you would like to hear on the night - they really don’t have to be traditional wedding disco songs, they just need to get people dancing and having a good time!

Transport

We have booked a local taxi to help transport people from the venue to their accommodation after the reception, so people can enjoy a drink and get to bed safely. As the location is quite remote there aren't many taxi companies, so there may be a short wait for a lift, but be assured the service will be there for everyone. Don't hesistate to contact us with any queries or concerns.
