Question 1: What do you think the relationship is, based on this graph?
The scatter diagram shows male and female subjects separately. There may be a tendency for BMI to be greater for consumers of large amounts of alcohol, but the relationship if very weak if it exists at all. The females tend to have a lower BMI than males, though some females have the highest reported BMI. Clearly, the heaviest reported alcohol consumption is by men.
