Question 8: What could we conclude from the confidence interval and P value?
From the confidence interval, we can conclude that in the population the relationship between reported BMI and alcohol consumption is that BMI is greater by between 0.008 and 0.141 Kg/m2 for each unit of alcohol consumed per week.
From the P value, we can conlcude that there is evidence that average BMI is greater for people who drink more alcohol.
