Research Interests

Ioan Polenciuc joined the Quantum Nanoelectronics group as a PhD student in October 2012. He received his BSe in Physics in Romania in 2012.

His present research interest is the demonstration of racetrack memory concept using pinning by exchange bias induced by an antiferromagnetic layer. He is currently funded by JEOL UK. Under the supervision of Dr Hirohata and Prof O'Grady, he will fabricate a racetrack memory concept.
